Croton Falls, Dam, and Reservoir, Ossining, NY
While docked at Half Moon Bay Marina in Croton-on-Hudson, NY (right next to Ossining, NY), the marina manager, Steve Plotkin, took me to see the Croton Falls, Dam, & Reservoir. It’s a sight to see. My first cousin Craig Miller, lived in Ossining since he was 13, with his parents, Aunt Sue (my mother’s sister) and Uncle John. I loved visiting them, however I never saw the falls until today.
The reservoir, created by the dam, is where New York City gets its water.
