Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

Today was a beautiful day for crossing about 50 miles of the Atlantic Ocean to Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard. We tied up to a mooring in Edgartown Harbor and went to shore on the launch. We had a really good lunch at The Seafood Shanty. After walking around the village with all of the quaint stores, we returned to Newport.

While heading back to Newport from Edgartown in Martha’s Vineyard, the water is getting a little choppy. No problem for a Lobster Boat hull, which works in the ocean year round, even in winter.

We are entering Newport, RI Harbor returning from Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard. Evening is coming! Watch the lighthouse at the entrance to the Newport, Harbor., which is also the entrance to Narragansett Bay. You can see the light flashing if you look closely.
